How is Social Media being used in Schools?
Using Glogster (Mrs. Barnabi will assign you your account in class today) you will create a Social Media interactive storyboard. Your Glogster must have the following to complete this assignment:
1. Your
Glogster must have on it seven images of social media that is used in the
classroom (IE See images above for examples). One of those images must be an INFOGRAPHIC about social media in the classroom! Your INFOGRAPHIC MUST BE LINKED!
2. You must
place a quote in your Glog about social media being used in the classroom (you
may have an image attached with it/on it). YOUR QUOTE MUST BE LINKED!
3. Place a two
links for social media in the classroom (see examples above). YOUR S.M. sites MUST BE LINKED!
4. Place a
picture of you on your Glog (off of our webcam/or a tech device in the
classroom - ie. phone, ipad, etc).
5. Add your own voice over explaining how you think social
media could be used in a class that doesn't currently use any social media in
your class (IE. Math, reading, social studies, science etc). Label this piece of your Glog, "In
my Opinion!"
6. Add a short video clip showing YOU using
one form of social media in the classroom (I will explain this in detail).
7. Title your
blog: "Social Media in the
Classroom."

Window Art Assignment
1. Window art introduction.
2. Select small groups (no more than two or three people per group!).
3. Select THEME.
4. Find design your group wishes to use (either picture, or create your own design in on our pixel site).
5. Pull image (either photo, or your own design - save to H drive).
6. Print out design - one copy for me (Mrs. B), one copy for your group!
After you've completed the above assignment (make sure to turn in one copy of your group's image with your names on it to Mrs. B), create the following BLOG on YOUR PAGE:
